Stephane Legar & Itai Levy - Maman

I won, my mamo
It's your boy Stephane
Everything you did was always for me
Itai Levi

Let's get it

(Ohhhh)

I won, my mamo
Everything you did was always for me
You always made sure I had everything
Always to get up, never to fall
Oh my mamo
Mamo

En parlant des jaloux nous on travaille donc tout ça ya pas chez nous,
Les couteaux dans le dos et la haine surtout
J'peux te garantir que ça ya pas chez nous
OUI, ça me fait mal
JE, suis dans la salle
LAISSE, moi quand je parle,
Okay ça y-est moi je m'en vais
Mon frère tu ma blessé
Pourquoi tu ma laissé
Allez toi aussi YEEEE

I won, my mamo
Everything you did was always for me
You always made sure I had everything
Always to get up, never to fall
Oh my mamo
Mamo

Mother, mother, oh my mother
You led me forward
You already gave me your whole heart, your heart

I won, my mamo
Everything you did was always for me
You always made sure I had everything
Always to get up, never to fall
Oh my mamo
Mamo

Born & Raised - Women of Israel Celebrate 70

I'm surprised by how emotional this lovely song by Born & Raised made me feel, especially the lines "The road is long/And we always try to get along/Though we sing different songs/We do it in harmony". On the eve of Israel's 70 year Independence celebrations, it's hard to feel that despite our differences "we speak with open hearts through conversation, songs and prayers". I hope we'll get there, but we have a long way to go.

Lior Seker & Rita Kogan - In the City of Abandoned Armchairs

This is the first single from the EP "In the city of abandoned armchairs", an intriguing collaboration between Lior Seker's music and Rita Kogan's poems.

In the city of abandoned armchairs
Entire days grow short, the daylight fades
Melancholy twilight and prayers
Embraces the seashore within straits
From the skyline to the waistline
Of a bather, a nameless girl
She's a curved silhouette, dark and fine
Against a horizontal silent burn
Green eyes and red eyes
Flicker at us beyond the murky vail
Unraveled wishes and navigation lights
Upon a wondrous, winded trail
