Yael Eisenberg - Graceland

A beautiful take on Paul Simon's classic.

She said losing love
Is like a window in your heart
Everybody sees you're blown apart
Everybody sees the wind blow
I'm going to Graceland

The Mississippi Delta
Was shining like a national guitar
I am following the river
Down the highway
Through the cradle of the Civil War

I'm going to Graceland, Graceland
Memphis, Tenessee
I'm going to Graceland
Poor boys and pilgrims with families
And we are going to Graceland
My travelling companion is nine years old
He is the child of my first marriage
But I've reason to believe
We both will be received
In Graceland

She comes back to tell me she's gone
As if I didn't know that
As if I didn't know my own bed
As if I'd never noticed
The way she brushed her hair from her forehead

And she said losing love
Is like a window in your heart
Everybody sees you're blown apart
Everybody sees the wind blow

I'm going to Graceland
Memphis, Tennessee
I'm going to Graceland
Poor boys and pilgrims with families
And we are going to Graceland
And my traveling companions
Are ghosts and empty sockets
I'm looking at ghosts and empties
But I've reason to believe
We all will be received
In Graceland

There is a girl in New York City
Who calls herself the human trampoline
And sometimes when I'm falling, flying
Or tumbling in turmoil I say
Whoa, so this is what she means
She means we're bouncing into Graceland

And I see losing love
Is like a window in your heart
Everybody sees you're blown apart
Everybody feels the wind blow

Ooh, ooh, ooh
In Graceland, in Graceland
I'm going to Graceland
For reasons I cannot explain
There's some part of me wants to see Graceland
And I may be obliged to defend
Every love, every ending
Or maybe there's no obligations now
Maybe I've a reason to believe
We all will be received
In Graceland
Ooh, ooh, ooh
In Graceland, Graceland
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I'm going to Graceland

Maybe I've a reason to believe
I've a reason to believe
I've a reason to believe
I've a reason to believe

WC - Cold cities

Wow ♥

I tried to move to cold cities
Which turned out to be unnecessary
Because no matter where I go
I carry the desert with me
I drag my feet to King George
I ask for the sugar
We haven't talked in years but you see
You're going through the same thing

I want to see your children
When it's too much I alienate
I want to see the years unfold
If it's too much, too much on the heart right now
I apologize

(where are you going now)
(nobody's poet)
(again you're alone)

I drag my feet to the angels
Who guarded us when we were children
They look at the clock like tired clerks
Waiting for the end of the day

Oh-oh
In the city center, a man hangs a poster
So many signs
Who can pay attention?
Oh-oh
Even in the house where you were born
For whatever reason
You want to go home

I want to see your children
When it's too much I alienate
I want to see the years unfold
If it's too much, too much on the heart right now
I apologize

Adar Alfandari - Wonder

First let me use the dialect in which I speak
To say something real
Our bulb may seem burnt sometimes but it's not, just needs a twist

I've been walking barefoot all night
looking for the demons in our mind

You're my late night radio station, when I'm off you tune me in
A bag for all those times my hands feel full, you'll pack my mess

I've been walking barefoot all night
looking for the demons in our minds

Let's wander, far away
Till we lose our way
And we'll be bound to stay
